Oven Cleaning

If you select the latter, please give the oven around an hour to clean within the scheduled time.

What It Involves

Cleaning an oven is a challenging procedure that often takes 30 to 60 minutes. The following are some of the duties that our cleaning crew will complete:

• Clean the oven’s interior walls;

 • Scrub and clean all trays and grills; 

• Vacuum, wipe, and scrub hinges to get rid of any food or charcoal residue;

 • Thoroughly clean the oven’s inside and exterior glass.

What It Does Not Involve

Please be aware that although we offer a comprehensive internal oven cleaning service, we are not an expert in oven cleaning, therefore unlike some businesses, we won’t disassemble your oven entirely. This does imply that our oven-cleans can produce quite comparable outcomes and are typically far more affordable.


Please also note that for some older ovens there is a limit to how much they can be cleaned and they may never look as good as new, but we will give it our best shot!

Fridge Cleaning

Our refrigerator cleaning services are really simple: we remove everything from your refrigerator, clean the shelves, drawers, compartments, and essentially the entire interior, and then we replace everything.

Please be aware that there can be additional fees if your refrigerator is quite large.

Additionally, please be aware that we do not clean freezers because, generally speaking, they must be defrosted before being cleaned.

Arvo Cleaning offers several methods for scheduling an inside refrigerator cleaning. The Inside Fridge can be added as an extra when you schedule a flat-rate cleaning. Additionally, you can schedule an hourly cost and ask for the fridge to be completed as part of the hourly service or add it as an additional. If you select the latter, please give the refrigerator about 30 minutes to clean within the scheduled period.

Clean Inside Cabinets

Cleaning the inside of cabinets is a straightforward yet often time-consuming task. We offer several options with pricing tailored to your needs:

  • Kitchen Cabinets (Empty):
    Ideal for when the cabinets are already empty, this option focuses on thoroughly cleaning the interior of all kitchen cabinets. It’s a popular choice for move-ins or move-outs.

  • Kitchen Cabinets (Full):
    Perfect for when the cabinets are still full, this option involves manually emptying the contents, cleaning the interiors (not the items themselves), and placing the items back into the cabinets. As this process takes more time, it is priced accordingly.

  • Other Drawers and Cabinets:
    To simplify things, this option covers the cleaning of all other drawers and cabinets in your home, including those in bathrooms, bedrooms, and other fixed storage spaces.

 

 

 

 
 

Inside Window Cleaning

Every one of our cleaning crews will arrive prepared to offer interior window cleaning services as well. This entails washing every glass panel in your house. Please be aware that we base our prices on average-sized homes; if your home has a lot of glass, we might need to adjust the price that day.

We exclusively provide window cleaning for inside windows. Please give one of our helpful staff members a call to discuss your alternatives if you need exterior window cleaning for spaces that are reachable from balconies or other areas.

Additionally, please be aware that if flyscreens and other obstructions are not removed by the client, the windows will not be cleaned. Because fly-screens are brittle, we usually refrain from attempting to remove them.

How to book?

Booking Inside Windows with Arvo Cleaning can be done in a few different ways. The windows can be added as an additional to a flat-rate cleaning reservation. Additionally, you can schedule an hourly charge and ask that the windows be added as an extra or that it be done as part of the hourly service. Depending on the size of your house, if you select the latter, please allow approximately one to two hours for the windows within the allotted time.

Laundry Services

We provide convenient on-site laundry services for your home. If you have a washing machine and dryer, our cleaning team can handle washing, drying, and folding your laundry during the service. However, please note that washing and drying times may limit the number of loads we can complete within the scheduled service.

Typically, washing cycles take 45–60 minutes, and drying cycles last 30–45 minutes, allowing us to complete approximately one load every two hours. As our teams often work in pairs, accommodating more than 1–2 loads during a single visit may be challenging.

Lightly Dusting Blinds vs Wet Wiping Blinds

Regular cleaning of blinds with a light dusting can help maintain their cleanliness. This light dusting, included in our Spring Cleans and End of Lease Cleans, involves using a duster to remove small amounts of dust.

However, if blinds have been left uncleaned for an extended period, they may accumulate significant dust and dirt, making cleaning more challenging. In such cases, a light dusting will not suffice, and a thorough wet wipe is necessary to remove the visible dust layer. For this, we offer a “Wet Wipe Blinds” service, which involves carefully cleaning each level of the blinds. This service is charged per blind.

Bed Changing

Take the stress out of laundry day with our convenient ironing service. Whether it’s shirts, trousers, dresses, or uniforms, our team ensures your clothes are neatly pressed and wrinkle-free. Simply provide the clean garments, and we’ll return them looking crisp and fresh.
This add-on service is available alongside any of our regular cleaning bookings.
An additional fee applies for ironing, based on the number of items or time required. Please book in advance to ensure availability.

Don’t have time to deal with the dishes? We’ve got you covered! Our team offers a thorough dishwashing service as an add-on to your regular cleaning. Whether it’s a few plates or a full sink after a big meal, we’ll wash, rinse, dry, and neatly stack your dishes with care.
We use eco-friendly dish soap and soft cloths to protect your cookware, glassware, and utensils from damage or scratches.
This service includes cleaning the sink area and wiping down surrounding benchtops for a sparkling finish.
Please note: An additional cost applies for dishwashing, depending on the volume of dishes and time required.

Clean Walls

We offer various methods to remove scuff marks and dirt from walls. During move-out cleans, we include the removal of a few significant scuff marks as part of the service. However, if walls have multiple light-to-medium marks, you will need to book a wall cleaning service as an additional extra. This service is charged per wall, and we kindly ask that you specify which walls you would like cleaned when making your booking.

Important Notes:

While we strive for the best results, certain limitations may affect wall cleaning. Older paint may peel or fade, even with minimal pressure, making complete cleaning challenging. Similarly, extremely dirty walls may not return to a like-new condition despite our efforts.

You can book wall cleaning with Arvo Cleaning in a few ways:

  1. Select a flat-rate clean and add the “Clean Wall” extra.

  2. Choose an hourly-rate service and either add walls as an extra or request the cleaning within the booked time. For hourly bookings, please allocate approximately 15–30 minutes per wall.

The extent of bathroom cleaning depends on the service you choose:

  • Hourly Rate Service: Our team will clean as much of your bathroom as possible within the allotted time.

The time required to clean a bathroom varies based on its size, the tasks needed, and the condition of the bathroom before cleaning. Rest assured, we’ll tailor our approach to meet your specific needs.
